Contribution to
destruction

The work Contribution to Destruction is a loose continuation of the activities of the Respekt Madam initiative and points to criticism aimed at the current management of the future of the Karlovy Vary Thermal Hotel.

The imaginary fragility of the building in the hands of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic is represented by the inner part, ie a bowl blown from crystal glass supplemented by a cover with holes, which breaks the inner part after inserting a coin. Coin openings offer two positions on the inside or inside the building and thus the symbolism of non-transparent disposal and redistribution of state property. The building is not a monument to one of the many unfortunate buildings, but a space for discussion and dissemination of a burning problem for us to the general public.
