Scout institute

Interior design of café run by czech scouts. Hidden gem located in city center right next to the Old town square.

"That the Old Town Square is only for foreigners and is it better to avoid it with an arch? Error! A café / reading room of the Scout Institute was built in the House at the Golden Corner (Staroměstské náměstí 4), which opened its doors to the public. The café, including accessories, was designed by Vojtěch Kordovský, an architecture student at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Everything you find in the interior was realized at a joint workshop by scouts and their friends. By combining natural materials, in the spirit of Czech scouting, they brought a piece of nature to the busy center of Prague. This created a place for meetings, lectures, concerts and relaxation."
