The thesis titled "Possibilities of Utilizing Artificial Intelligence for Complex Architectural Lighting" has become the connection between my knowledge acquired during my studies in Architecture Studio III and the skills gained during a one-year internship at the Glass Studio. The result of this synergy is a prototype of an interior element that utilizes crystal as a light-scattering material. This effect was the key to achieving a satisfying aesthetic impression, which is one of the two fundamental pillars of the work. The second, significantly more important element of the research, is the integration of the product with machine learning and its embodiment through a camera system with human recognition functionality. The fact that the object illuminates only in the presence of a person and only in the area where they are located emphasizes both energy conservation as a non-renewable resource and addresses the growing energy crisis, which imposes economic and ecological impacts on society. These were the main reasons for addressing this issue.
